Tennessee Talks

Mister Lou: Pleased to have you at the (dog)park today Tennessee, do you see anyone with fleas? We don't need these:::

Tennessee: Glad to see the flowers in bloom, my mom, Brittany takes me here &explains the varieties you see:::not just trees.

Mister Lou: Could you explain to me what I smell just beyond? It's not usual for this spot.

Tennessee:Ah that is Lavender, possibly an English variety, they tend to make essential oils from those, the fragrance is fragrant you French can't resist.

Mister Lou: So I must prefer the French Lavender don't you see the sense behind my smell?

Tennessee: Yes, and for me a Portuguese I found from Brittany that this variety is my national carnation so she arranges me a vase by my (dog)bed  but another fact of the matter is these plants are native to northern Spain.

Tennessee: I am sorry I should not have said, carnation, my mother would not be happy with me to confuse you, lavender is of the floral family Lamiaceae, but you see in my country we had this revolution of peaceful ends to the prior dictatorship where red carnations symboled to say, "we want no bloodshed", from the muzzles of rifles carried during the coup.

Mister Lou: Muzzles are nice with florals?

Tennessee: Muzzles are NEVER nice&this is not that type of MUZZLE, MISTER, one track mind, it's a portion of a gun but the red carnation meant they looked for peaceful resistance.

Mister Lou: So every carnation colOR/flower has a meaning behind it?

Tennessee: There is so much feeling in the florals, history in the growth, when my mom arranges a piece she takes all these factors to be apart of the arrangement you see--

((Lou&Tennessee turn to look at Brittany Asch styling an arrangement for a fête))

Mister Lou: I can see that. She creates a mood with how she molds the natural fibers to suggest the oils van Oosterwijck painted to depict her reality of life:still:lives of flowers just cut:::

Tennessee: Sometimes I don't know what you are talking about Lou;

Mister Lou: Oh Tennessee, yes you do, but sometimes I feel the same about you.
